The Committee on Aging for Randolph County, Inc. was established in 1967. It is a not for profit organization located in Elkins, Randolph County, West Virginia. The Committee on Aging for Randolph County was created to provide programs to serve the elderly of Randolph County. The organization's mission encompasses serving seniors who are both well and frail.
To study the needs of the aging and others in Randolph County and to take such actions as are necessary to help meet these needs.
To encourage, promote and aid in the establishment of local programs and serves for the aging and others.
To utilize opportunities to establish demonstration programs of services for the aging and others.
Mission (In-Home Care Programs)
To establish for the aging and others of Randolph County comprehensive in-home care programs that will focus on improving and maintaining function, dignity and quality of life and ensuring their ability to remain in their own home.
The Randolph County Senior Center is funded through the West Virginia Bureau of Senior Services, Upper Potomac Area Agency on Aging, Randolph County Commission, United Way of Randolph County, and private donations from members and friends.
Any senior citizen 60 years of age or over is welcome to participate in programs and services sponsored by the Committee on Aging for Randolph County, Inc. regardless of sex, color, handicap or national origin.
